The Messenger - The monthly journal of the Manchester Law Society
The Messenger is the monthly publication of the Manchester Law Society, and is distributed to 2000 solicitors in Manchester City Centre as well as to solicitors in the affiliated Societies of Trafford, Sale, Bury, Macclesfield and Oldham. This tabloid publications carries news from a broad spectrum of legal practices as well as a number of regular features including, The Presidents Column, Management Matters - a topical update on practice management issues, the "In House Q A and City Profile - a monthly interview with a Manchester personality. The publication also includes news items from the Courts in the City, legal "movers and shakers”, mergers, deals and acquisitions as well as national and local legal news and reports on social events and dinners.

Liverpool Law - The monthly journal of the Liverpool Law Society
Liverpool Law is distributed to 2500 members of the Liverpool Law Society. The geographical region includes Liverpool City Centre, Birkenhead, the Wirral and Merseyside. Regular features include the Presidents Column, Editorial, recruitment advice and CPD course information. Liverpool is a very active local law society and recent editions have included reports on the recent Legal Awards and the Nugent 5K Team Challenge as well as the activities of firms involved in CSR and charity work. Liverpool Law also includes regular stories from the Association of Women Solicitors, the JLD Group and the Societys various sub committees, as well as news from the Courts and local firms.

The North West Legal News is the bi-monthly publication of the Association of North Western Law Societies (ANWLS) , an umbrella organisation covering 26 local law societies and 5300 solicitors from Chester North Wales in the south, Cumbria in the North and Cheshire and Lancashire. The President of ANWLS writes a regular column, as does the Editor. Regular features include news from around the region, costs update. networking, professional development and practice management issues as well local and national legal news.

The Newcastle News - The monthly journal of the Newcastle Law Society
The monthly publication of the Newcastle Law Society is distributed to the 1300 members of the Newcastle Law Society. Features include the "Newcastle News Interview” - a probing set of questions set for local legal personalities on a monthly basis, the Presidents Column, local news from firms around the region as well as a diary of events being held by the Newcastle Law Society. Other highlights include reports from the Societys visits to Kenya - a long standing twinning relationship between the Newcastle Law Society and the Rift Valley Law Society.

In Brief - The journal of the Northern Circuit of the Bar
In Brief is published three times a year in each legal term. It is distributed to 1500 barristers on the Northern Circuit in Chambers in Liverpool, Manchester Preston and Chester as well as other members of the Circuit who have moved to the Judiciary. Edited by highly regarded QC, Iain Goldrein, In Brief includes a column from the Leader of the Circuit, an Editors Column and family, crime and civil law updates as well as topical articles from Chambers and from the Courts. The Circuit has an active social and sporting calendar which is reported upon in each edition as well as providing a forum for debate.
